AICAOA-Its Membership Part 1

AICAOA was formed in September 2018. Within one year of its inception the membership crossed 200.  Applied for Recognition. However the actual subscribers were less than the required magic figure. Reason being no proper leader for AICAOA who can take decisions based on reality and who can lead from front. Observed that no-one has any intention to contribute to the cause.

One more year lapsed and no change in the situation. Then I decided to take up a leading role as long as I am in the NEB.

First step taken was to prepare the views of AICAOA on the proposed RRs of PAOs and Sr.AOs. For the first time using Google Forms taken the views of the members and analysed their feedback. Accordingly a suitable draft was prepared with the help of my friend Shri P. Mahesh of ,ZAO CBDT VIZAG. Later it was submitted in CGA office.

Second step taken was to identify the whatsapp group members whether all are our members or not?  Once again, one more feedback was taken from the members on their Membership in AICAOA. WITH THIS RESULT WE COULD IDENTIFY WHO ARE OUF MEMBERS.
We couldn't identify a few Delhi members as they have not confirmed about their membership. Similarly we couldn't identify the subscription if those who have confirmed as members from Delhi.
Thirdstep taken was to request the members to join Facebook Group of AICAOA-CGA. This is created exclusively for the members of AICAOA only. Hence admission is restricted to members of AICAOA only.
Fourthly, we wanted to improve our membership. For this new applications were designed. Made available to all the NEB members and also on Facebook Group. An on-line submission of Application form is also designed.
During this part of membership drive a few new members joined and thereafter they started putting in their efforts for membership drive. Then the groupism and politics started in the NEB.

PAO GSI HYDERABAD PART 3

Since my last posting, I have been suffering from my knee joint pain and could not express my thoughts.  But during this interim period many incidents occurred. I have to share my views.  Presently I am working in PAO, GSI, Ministry of Mines, Hyderabad as Asst. Accounts Officer.  I have posted all my observations in my previous postings about the punctuality, attendance, contribution etc.,, all which I observed in the present office.  There is no working atmosphere.

There are external problems also. For example, the departmental association interference in the day to day matters, pre-check matters, GPF matters, Pension Matters, RTI matters, complaints on officers, threatening, blackmailing.......what not.....all sorts of possibilities.

I will post in detail in my next meeting...till then bye

PAO GSI HYDERABAD PART 2

ATTENDANCE IN GOVT. OFFICES vis-a-vis THEIR OUTPUT OR CONTRIBUTION

In continuation to my previous posting, I would like to analyse the reasons for the poor attendance in Govt. Offices which can be attributed to any one or more of the following.:
  • COMING LATE IN THE MORNING
  •
  • LEAVING EARLY IN THE EVENNING
  •
  • TEA BREAKS FOR MINIMUM OF 2 TO 3 TIMES A DAY
  •
  • EXTENDED LUNCH BREAKS
  •
  • WASTAGE OF TIME BY GOSSIPING WITH COLLEAGUES
  •
  • WASTAGE OF TIME DUE TO VISITIORS, GUESTS, FRIENDS
  •
  • INVOLVEMENT IN ORGANIZATIONAL OR ASSOCIATIONAL ACTIVITIES
  •
  • SPECIAL CONCESSIONS TO WOMEN EMPLOYEES IN ATTENDANCE
  •
  • SPECIAL CONCESSIONS TO SPOON FEEDERS
  •
  • SPECIAL CONCESSIONS TO RADICAL EMPLOYEES WHO MANAGE BY HOOK OR CROOK
  •
  • SPECIAL CONCESSIONS TO THOSE WHO BLACK-MAIL
  •
  • SPECIAL CONCESSIONS TO SENIORMOST EMPLOYEES BECAUSE OF THEIR AGE ETC.
  •
  • OTHER ENVIRONMENTAL DISTURBANCES DUE TO CRICKET AND OTHER MATCHES (LIVE)
  •
  • OTHER BUSINESS ACTIVITIES BY THE EMPLOYEES AT THE SAME STATION
  •
  • OTHER AVIGATIONS LIKE TEACHING TUITIONS/PART TIME IN SCHOOLS OR COLLEGES OR EVEN AT HOME
  •
  • OTHER PART TIME JOBS

If we observe carefully, what the Govt. officials are contributing to the real output of the Govt. Work?  Whether it matches with what they are paid for?

PAO GSI HYDERABAD PART 1

ATTENDANCE IN GOVT. OFFICES vis-a-vis THIER OUTPUT OR THEIR CONTRIBUTION.

Everybody knows that the Central Govt. Office timings are from 9.15 a.m. to 5.45 p.m.  In most of the cities, majority of the employees attend the office after 10.30 a.m. only.  Only a few attend the office in time. Do you know when they leave their office?  They start leaving from 4 p.m. onwards.  What about the lady employees?  All types of special concessions, in addition to the above, are allowed to them.  Reasons.............attributable to many causes.

In Andhra Pradesh, like many states, during the summer and other seasons also, there is a minimum of 1-2 hours power cut during the office hours.  Now-a-days all the offices are dependent on computers for their work. The UPSs provided in the office may not support enough to cover the power cut period.  So there is no work or out put during this period.

There is half an hour lunch break allowed by GOI, but our friends take lunch for hours together.  In addition to that TEA breaks in morning, afternoon, and evening.  So at least 1-2 hours is just spent for this purpose.

There are other breaks due to or attributable to: gossiping, knitting, playing, spoon feeding, etc. and  visitors, friends, and other guests.

Then What is the real time to work?  What is the daily output?  Are they really contributing  any thing to Govt. in return what they are paid for?

                                                                                                             ........to be continued.
